Would you like to relieve stress and tension, improve your circulation or release trapped nerves? Do you know that 75% of disease is estimated to be stress related?

Reflexology is a system of massage used to relieve tension and treat illness, based on the theory that there are reflex points on the feet, hands, and head linked to every part of the body.
  • A gentle non-invasive treatment carried out on the feet alone, which helps to induce deep relaxation and in turn aids the body’s own healing process. It is extremely beneficial for the elderly.

I offer Reflexology Therapy for the following life stages
Reflexologist in Kerry

Facial Reflexology.

dien cham

A Holistic reflexology treatment carried out on the face; the client is fully clothed and lies flat on a treatment couch.

Origins of the methods
Professor Chau a practitioner of facial Acupuncture was concerned that some clients were and are scared of needles. He found a method of treatment for the face that did not involve needles.
The face is the reflection of the soul and of our inner balance.  -we are able to stimulate our self-regulation process with the aim of recovering the harmony of the body. Pain relief is quick but we can reach the real problems only by studying the Dien Chan theoretical and practical basis. We work deeply to get the deepest and most long-lasting results.

Multireflexology - Dien Chan also obtains good results in chronic diseases. It is scientifically known that the body has many strategies for self-regulation, and non-invasive techniques help us to shorten recovery periods. The body has many strategies to regulate itself and non-invasive techniques help us to shorten recovery.
Facial therapy is economic and comforting, it has an immediate result and can be combined with any traditional treatment.
Facial Reflexology works on the same principles as foot reflexology but with an added bonus.
How you look!  The organs and systems of the body are reflected on the face as well as the feet. Reflexology is a deeply relaxing therapy which promotes wellness, it encourages the body to begin the healing process.
Reflexology does not claim to diagnose or cure, however, it has been associated with many health benefits.
The lifting and tightening effects on clients face is very obvious following a treatment. I worked on a client who had bells palsy (It’s a temporary facial paralysis of one side of the face that results from damage or trauma to the facial nerve (the seventh cranial nerve). Paralysis to both sides of the face is rare)
Even though i can not prove the facial reflexology treatments helped the paralysis recede more quickly and completely, The client found it much easier to smile. Which is very positive.

fertility reflexologyFertility Reflexology

Origins of the method
Rakhee Shah Fertility reflexology London.

For whatever reason unique to the individual couple the worry and anxiety of an unmet desire can bring strain to relationships and even isolation from friends while the process of getting pregnant takes center stage. Reflexology has been used for fertility, pregnancy, childbirth and parenthood for as long as humans have understood the therapeutic benefit of loving touch.

By stimulating that reflexology point you are helping to clear out congestion, blockages, and encouraging circulation and chi to flow to that organ

Aside from releasing oxytocin and the endorphins responsible for intense relaxation, reflexology provides a space away from the speed of modern day life and a chance to offload emotionally, physically and mentally.

Polycystic ovaries, adhesions (more commonly known as scar tissue), pelvic inflammatory disease, premenstrual syndrome, hormonal imbalances, blocked or damaged fallopian tubes, endometriosis and menstrual problems have all shown improvement from reflexology  In order to address fertility health, I will work through the reflexology points specific to the clients area(s) of health concern, such as the:
  • ovaries
  • lymphatic system
  • immune system
  • uterus
  • circulatory system
  • neurological system (stress, anxiety, depression)
  • endocrine system (hormone balance)
  • liver (toxin release, hormone balance)
  • kidneys (libido, fertility issues)

Reflexology works best when the client also ensures healthy lifestyle habits are in place. These include but are not limited to diet, exercise, relaxation, work/life balance. No two reflexology treatments are the same for each session because the chosen points address the needs of the client on that particular day. Tailored treatment each session helps to ensure greater outcome.

Regularly receiving fertility reflexology provides many benefits for the reproductive system. Some of the benefits are:

  • Helps to reposition a tilted uterus
  • Promotes hormonal balance
  • Massage helps to break up scar tissue
  • Helps to bring fresh blood to the uterus
  • Helps to reduce stress & stress hormones
  • Increases circulation to the uterus & cervix
  • Improves endocrine system communication
  • Encourages the liver to get rid of excess hormones
  • Promotes hormonal balance by strengthening the hormonal feedback loop
  • Helps the body to rid itself of old stagnant blood and tissue
  • Discontinue Fertility reflexology once you find out you are pregnant.
  • If you have health issues consult with your physician before beginning Self Fertility Massage.

Fertility reflexology may help the body to become balanced, have healthy circulation, increase immune system health, decrease stress, and much much more.
