Massage can soothe your baby and help her to sleep. Massage has many added benefits for your baby, including improving weight gain, improving circulation, aiding digestion and easing teething pain. Massage is a great way for you and your partner to bond with your baby, and you may find it relaxing, too!
Classes are both centered and very relaxed so as well as learning a new skill you can meet other parents in your area and build a support network. It is a skill you will be able to use for your child as he/she grows and is fantastic “time out” for you both.
The course will enable you to treat your own child using the Baby Reflexology points, baby stretches and massage techniques.. My classes are fully interactive and fun,so you can learn and bond with your baby at the same time. Plus meeting new mums. Excellent for traumatic births.
Reflexology for babies complements baby massage but is very different. Rather than setting time aside at home for a massage session, baby reflexology can be done any time anywhere; in the car, eating out, , as it only involves rubbing or holding the feet or stimulating points. and can be done in minutes while Mum or Dad hold baby.If you have ever been standing in the supermarket queue with a screaming toddler or have had sleepless nights when your little one just will not settle, then this is the answer.
The beauty of reflexology is that it ‘grows’ with your child. You can start reflexology from birth and your child can enjoy it for years to come. Reflexology can improve bonding between parents and babies/ toddlers
I recently completed the Body Baby Reflexology course with my baby. I learned some fantastic techniques to help me soothe my baby who was suffering from reflux and trapped wind. I now have the skills to help Liv and ease her discomfort after feeding. I would highly recommend Kay as a therapist and also reflexology for both Mom and baby.

Week 1: Feeding and digestion
Week 2: Sleep and comfort
Week 3: Well-being (including teething)
Benefits of Tiny Baby Reflexology/Massage Course:
Massage & Reflexology encourages positive bonding between parent and baby at an early stage. Spending intimate one on one time with your little one can help you get to know each other and baby loves the power of the touch and particurlarly the stretches.
It can help you become more confident with handling your child and better at recognising baby needs. Spending quiet time massaging or doing reflexology on your baby will give you the time and space you need to start recognising and learning baby cues. Learning to understand your baby will give you a bit of a confidence boost and make you feel more relaxed in those early months.
Physiological benefits of massage and reflexology include better breathing for your baby, improved lymph and blood circulation and gastrointestinal function
Massage and reflexology is calming on the nervous system and is excellent for colic, reflex, digestive issues and and sleep. Massaging raises levels of the 'feel-good' hormone oxytocin in both you and your baby, helping you both feel calmer and relaxed.
Your baby's muscles relax, breathing becomes deeper and the massage oil nourishes your child's skin. Skin stimulation also provides a vital trigger to the nervous system.
It can also provide relief from colic, reflux, teething by following the reflexology techniques or – massaging your baby's tummy, for example
If you would like a happier, calmer baby then book your spot on the next class.
I went to Kay for reflexology throughout my pregnancy and found her fantastic. I recently completed Baby Reflexology course and couldn’t recommend Kay highly enough. Such a lovely and positive experience for me and my baby
Recently completed baby reflexology course with Kay. Learned so much. My baby loved it and relaxes so much when I do it now with him. I can now do it on my toddler who also loves it. Well done Kay.
