Wedding day beauty skincare countdown

Skin care is one of the most important components of natural beauty, no matter what your age, skin tone, or skin type

If there's one occasion where you want to pay extra attention to beauty dos, it's your wedding.Whether you have 12 months or 1 month to your impending nuptials its never to late to enhance your looks, so you glow and feel confident on your wedding day.
12- 6 months.
Now is the time to start a regular skin care regime specific to your skin type and  for bridesmaids ( including sun screen ) and to address any skin issues you may have, including acne, rosacea, red veins, pigmentation, scars, and sun damage. I offer FREE  skin consultations to evaluate your skin concerns.I work with the latest technologies including laser / IPL and chemical Peels.
  1. Photo-aging or Sun Damage is skin that has fine wrinkles, freckling, irregular pigmentation, coarse or rough appearance, large pores and a dull texture. IPL has been shown to visibly reduce these skin characteristics creating skin that is brighter and more youthful in appearance.
  2. Acne Scarring may be visibly improved with IPL treatments that induce Collagen formation in the dermis.
  3. IPL Laser Treatments (Intense Pulsed Light Treatments) must be done as a series of treatments in order to obtain maximum benefits

Unwanted facial and body hair ? This can be permanently reduced with  laser treatments. Treatment cycles can vary depending on body part typically six / ten treatments are required. Standard / Brazilian / Californian bikini. Underarm . Full /half leg. Nipples. Abdomen. Beard are .Lip & Chin. Eyebrows.

Start laser hair removal for both face and body. Laser and IPL treatments can reduce red veins, pigmentation and overall rejuvenated the skin. Now is the time to start as typically more than one treatment session is required plus healing time.

  • Examine how much water you drink daily. Drinking 8 to 10 glasses daily will help clear up blemishes and make your skin more luminous. I suggest filling a water bottle and keeping it on your desk at work. Have another water bottle in the TV room (or wherever you tend to hang out at night). While drinking this much water may be a challenge at first, keep at it, and it will get easier and easier.

While you're increasing your water consumption, it's a great time to be decreasing your caffeine consumption. Not only will less caffeine help your skin, it will also help you to be less stressed out! You know if you're better off going cold turkey or decreasing gradually.

6-3 months
Continue or start laser hair removal for both face and body
If you have not already done so start a skin care regime to work on that glowing complexion. Engage in chemical peels  and skin rejuvenation treatments to help with your skin concerns.
Thinking of Derma fillers and anti wrinkle treatments for unwanted frown lines, crow’s-feet and facial lines and folds. Our specialist Doctor are here to advise you.

I don't have to tell you that people planning weddings are stressed out. Between money, time, and general expectations, most engaged couples I know are ready to pull out their hair at one point or another. If you can break down where that stress is coming from, it will be easier to deal with.
Everyone will want to know the details of your wedding and everyone will have an opinion. Listen to what they have to say, but with a grain of salt. They are not the ones getting married, we are. If you listened to what everyone thought, you would have a mish mash wedding that would not reflect who you are in the slightest. You're not getting married to please them, after all.
It's true, the number one person who will stress you out the most is the person you're going to spend the rest of your life with. This is mostly because weddings are stressful, and they're the person you'll be around most. The most common complaints are "He's not doing anything to help with the wedding" and "she never talks about anything other than the wedding.
  • Relax! A relaxed bride is a beautiful bride. A wedding succeeds as long as you end up married at the end of the day. Every thing else is just gravy. As every bride-to-be knows, weddings can be stressful no matter how great your planning is or how many friends you have helping out..
Pamper yourself the Bride
Relax Physically and Mentally with a Massage or reflexology. Over the course of your engagement, all that cumulative stress gets stored in – where else? – your body. A massage will knead out those knotted up muscles, but did you know that beyond the physical level, bodywork can help release pent-up stress and emotions?
Emotionally, your tissues-muscles, fascia, & even organs, quite literally store trauma.

Recall a time when you were delivered some bad news. Perhaps your shoulders shrugged up, your stomach tightened, your throat closed a little; the emotional impact you felt in the moment was stored in all the muscles that contracted in response.
Bodywork performed by a skilled professional can release trauma from the body in much the same way a closed fist holding onto something is gently opened.Prepare for your big day by treating yourself to a relaxing, grounding, balancing massage.
Massage is not just a luxury, it is a necessity. Paying attention to your mind, body and spirit is the most important thing you can do for yourself during highly stressful situations. By getting a massage on a regular basis, starting several months before your big day, you can substantially relieve mental and physical tension, improve your mental response, increase your cardiovascular efficiency, tone your internal organs, flush out metabolic toxins, and give yourself a general sense of well-being and good health.
There will be an atmosphere of pampering, rejuvenation, and relaxation. Healing Through soothing music, candlelight, and fill the rooms with scents to ease the stress of preparing for your wedding day

I can pamper the bride, groom and wedding party. We get rid of the knots before you tie the knot.
